sonido alsa alsaconf tarjeta sonido hp intel

ANTECEDENTES

Equipo HP Compaq 7700 smallformfactor con tarjeta de sonido integrada. Desde la versión 1.0.17-1 del paquete 'alsa-utils' ya no está disponible el comando 'alsaconf' 1, por lo que hay que buscarse la vida.

SOLUCIÓN

(Todo como root)

1. Como siempre listar los dispositivos integrados en placa:

lspci -vv > /tmp/lspci.txt

NOTA Si no tenemos instalado el paquete lspci:

aptitude update && aptitude install lspci

Contestar 's' o 'y' a todas las preguntas.

2. Echarle un ojo a la salida:

nano /tmp/lspci.txt

En mi caso:

3. Sinceramente la solución la tomé de internet, porque la linea final no aclara demasiado:

Hay que habilitar el módulo 'snd-hda-intel':

modprobe snd-hda-intel

4. Por último reiniciar alsa:

/etc/init.d/alsa-utils restart

5. Y probar a reproducir un fichero de sonido, ver un video en youtube…
